Passion, joy, tenacity and persistence

Born and raised in Lucania, the ancient heart of southern Italy, Angelo Casalaspro was fortunate to have his family pass on their passion for the tastes of traditional peasant cooking. By the age of 8 Angelo was baking bread and soon after, he learned to enjoy a world of new flavours when the family moved to Tuscany.

By 22 he had achieved his dream by becoming a chef and since then he has honed his unique style in some of the most prestigious kitchens of Garfagnana, Chianti, Maremma, Monte Argentario and Elba.
